Getting started

• “Plan a new trip” walks you through who’s coming (adults, teens, children, toddlers, pets) and optional trip details (length, weather, destination type) to generate a tailored packing list automatically.
• “Start from scratch” skips the questionnaire and creates a blank list you build up yourself.

Managing items

• Tap an item to tick it off as packed.
• Tap the pencil icon on an item to rename it, change its category, reassign who it’s for, adjust the quantity, or delete it.
• Use the + button in the bottom-right corner to add a new item anywhere, or “Add to …” inside a group to add directly into it.

Views & sorting

• Switch between “By category” and “By person” using the toggle under the progress bar.
• In category view, use the sort dropdown on each category to reorder its items by name, person, quantity, or packed status.

Managing your lists

• From the dashboard, tap Edit on any list to rename it, duplicate it as a fresh template, uncheck all items to reuse it for a new trip, or delete it entirely.
• Inside a list, tap the eraser icon in the header to permanently remove items you’ve already ticked off.

Your data

• Packing lists are stored locally in this browser — nothing leaves your device.
• Signing in with Google is optional and only identifies you in the app; it doesn’t currently sync your lists across devices.
